Friday, May 21, 2004 - Very smokey and burnt fat nose upfront. Big fruit with loads of grenache aromatics. Very minty/menthol. Loosened up to be good fruit with fairly tight structure. Good drinking, but one dimensional. Good pairing with Grilled kobe w/ olive oil/sea salt dressing, morels in cream sauce w/ pasta.
