Saturday, August 20, 2016 - Christoffle is one of the old Mosel auslese masters. His star property, the EP, often retains its rich, golden, semi-viscous nature and has a bold minerality and wonderful floral bouquet that is less wild than the UW but deep than the WS. The 1994s have been uniformly excellent. This last bottle has begun to show as well, increased dryness and acidity on the final 1/4 toward the end of the palate. Drink now for a still wonderful experience.
