Initial nose of Pinot. Then fresh berries on the bush. Medium intensity. A kind of creaminess on the nose. Searching for the right fruit descriptor but what I get is a general bouquet or fresh berries. The other thought that hit me was Grenache. Just reminded me of it. Chocolate.
Pretty intense palate. Spicy. Full bodied. Sweet fruit. Very nice. Delicate tannins. Blueberry pie. Not overly big. Pretty lively.
Nice long finish.
Reminds me of a little of really extracted Pinot that is very popular.
Zin typicity showed up late. Refined.
Not much of a wow factor but a solid wine. And at 14.5% refreshingly lively and pure.
