Friday, May 14, 2010 - From old Verdejo vines on the Martinsancho ranch in Rueda. Pale gold in color. Nice aromas of apples, citrus, a hint of tropical fruits, and nice minerals with a hint of smoke. Palate has a nice intermingling of fruit and a nice mineral component. Medium acidity with a moderately viscous (oily?) texture. Nice long lingering finish of minerals over a nice briny note. I like this wine.
