This wine was shipped in May of this year, which wasn't that bad weather-wise on the east coast, but it must have been pretty hot somewhere along the way. This does not bode well for my other couple of bottles and is a big reason I now shy away from ground shipping in all but the early spring or late fall. Sattui seems particularly susceptible - I am starting to think their cork quality is not up to snuff.
