Monday, November 9, 2009 - Drank over two nights, both showed nicely. Fresh apricot, Fuji apple and loamy minerals on the nose with a light toward medium body. Nothing flashy, or overly extracted, just nice fresh citrus notes, good acidity and a refreshing mouthfeel and finish. On night 2, the white peach, lime zest and zingy acidity were front and center - the wine also fleshed out a little. At only 12,5% abv, this is a lovely, balanced and very feminine Pinot Gris. Drink thru 2011.
