Friday, December 20, 2019 - X-Mas Tasting (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): Glass: Gabriel Gold
Tasted blind. Decanted. A bit raw and wild nose with some undergrowth and soil, dried rose petals. I am sure, this is Toscana again, Sangiovese!
On the palate lots of wonderful red, dark fruit, high acidity and high tannin, which also makes me believe, that this is an Italian wine. Wonderful wine, very youthful. So surprised to see, that this is a Pommard… 93-94
