Sunday, February 20, 2011 - This wine is very fruity, but has well balanced acidity. The nose is of fresh honeydew melons (probably due to the semillon) and has a touch of citrus and grass, which is more typical of sauvingon blancs. The wine was a beautiful and rich straw color, not too dark. I just missed a little zippiness in the structure of the wine, which is why I did not rate the wine a 90. Overall, a great wine to enjoy with food or by itself.
