Tuesday, May 10, 2016 - Tannicbeast pretty well nailed the tasting note. I kicked it up a point because it went so well w/a pork cutlet meal --- the wine gave great flavor to the pork which was not seasoned except with mild gravy. A cheese plate of some soft French fromage and bread after the meat, than a glass alone killed the bottle. Definitely got money's worth with this one. Glad I gave it prolonged rest before finally drinking as it was mellow with dark fruit, lingering flavors.
