Saturday, April 9, 2011 - Decanted for 1-1/2 hrs in am, then put back in Cave so it would be cool for our terrace dining at BLT Steak. Worked well and interestingly drank alongside David's 88 Grange. The same principal varietal but the regional stylistic and terroir differences stoodout. The Ampuis showed pronounced Provencal notes of nicoise olive and pine scents. The fine tactile sense and extended finish were evident in both wines.
