Sunday, July 8, 2012 - Totally closed. Opened It up, zero fruit with lots of oak. Decanted for 2 hours with a little opening up but hardly any change. Color not purple but dark red with some orange around the edges. I put it back in the bottle and in the refrigerator and am drinking the following night. This is one confused wine. The fruit isn't drying up so it must be in a dumb phase. But I cant get over the oak. Really one dimensional. As the night goes on more secondary fruit favors coming out that are not that enjoyable. I have a few more bottles, I don't think I'll look at them for another 10 yrs.
