Tuesday, April 12, 2016 - Drank at WWS Northern Rhone tasting. On the nose, some sweet fruit, some oak & some barnyard/earth. Plenty of red cherry fruit, blended nicely with pepper, spice & earth. Seemed a bit hotter than the 13% listed. Overall, a powerful, yet fresh and vibrant wine that is showing splendidly nearly 20 years on.
