Thursday, December 15, 2016 - Opened several hours ago. Initially revealed nothing in either nose or mouth. Not bad, just unyielding. Now, it is strutting its stuff. Lovely burnished garnet with pretty red legs. The nose has come alive, with animalistic and bacon fat scents. Cherry red fruit, too. And rhubarb. Fine, rich, leathery aroma, like a fine old leather in an old textbook. Quite feminine. In the mouth it has blossomed as well, with lovely soft, rich, even majestic fruit flavors, mostly red fruits. Excellent finish. 5-13-17-9: 94/100.
