Wednesday, December 21, 2016 - Definitely ready to drink now. This fully mature N. Rhone wine shows light signs of age on the color, with the nose very reticent in the first hour. But after that it unfolded slowly, delicately to reveal a cascade of nuance and purity. Medium-bodied now, this gently offered notes of meat, olive, savory and soil, and did so with finesse and grace. Served s-b-s with 97 La Turque and 2001 Ex-Voto, this was the wine most mature and replete with all the mature aspects one loves and dreams about. recommended

PnP, served non-blind, bottle held since release and in great condition.
