Swept the flight with 9-1/3 votes vs Columbo Le Rouet,4-1/3 votes; and Columbo La Louvee, 2-1/3 votes. Several tasters WOTN.
I had decanted this for 45 minutes in the am. I immediately recognized its nuanced charm and complexity. To me the most elegant and balanced wine of the evening. Paired perfectly with Maria's HEAVENLY Cassoulet, which perhaps trumped all of the wines.
Cesar felt this was the best flight thus far. He ranked the Ampuis and the Columbo La Louvee equally, while Charlie, and Roberta and David Errenreich split their votes in this flight.
