Nose and palate of moderately concentrated purple/black fruits, ripe, slightly sweet (as a napa cab should) w a little heat in the back (surprising given the label says 13.8%, although could be inaccurate). Enjoyable, better w/out food than with salmon, Osso bucco, truffle pasta. Don't hold, drink next year or two as I think the fruit will fade and the heat will take over.
