Friday, January 6, 2012 - Tasted blind: Intensive, clear ruby in color. The nose reminded of lavage and had some madeira notes to it. Surprisingly it still felt young so it does not appear that it was a too warm stored bottle. Anyway the wine in the glass was not representative for a 1997 Araujo Eisele...final verdict...flawed bottle. Retaste
