Monday, January 6, 2014 - Crimson brick color. This had an earthy, musty nose with hints of wood and spice. The palate was very similar, with the addition of dusty, dried fruit notes. Interesting wine, though mired in the darker end of the aroma and flavor spectrum. Tannins are sufficiently robust to support another three to five years of age on this.
