Nose screamed North Coast, ripe black and blue fruit, earth, and a touch of heat. First sip just held in my mouth, fruit tannins are still lively and thick. Excellent integration of oak, finish goes on and on. Stood above the Pomerol before it. Smashing - might be wine of the night.
