On the spicy palate, the wine showed dark flowers, dark fruit, dark cherry, some garrigue, black pepper and liquorice as well as some roasted notes and stony mineral notes, with medium-level acidity, medium to medium-plus tannin and good length. The solid, medium-bodied wine was quite balanced and grew on me over time.
