Saturday, October 4, 2014 - Consumed over two weeks thru Coravin. Color is dark and ruby like. Initial nose is tight, with more green elements then red, hints of fern, lead, stone, with secondary notes of tart black berry and cassis upon aeration. Palate is much more intriguing and standout. Highly structured, with plenty of acid and good tannin. Dark cherry, stone, pit, pine, loam, earth, and herb. Good mouth watering finish especially after long decant. Time will only benefit this wine.
