Tuesday, January 31, 2017 - Lovely balance between rich ripe fruit (think stone fruit) and acidic tension with some mineralite on the finish. Herbal note initially dominated, becoming resin before pecorino and finally popcorn. Nice wine, although overshadowed a bit by the power of the 81 Perrieres served alongside. Plenty of time here, I would hold a bit and drink 2020-2030.
