Saturday, October 21, 2023 - After emailing with the Vineyard it turns out that all of the remaining bottles in this vintage were damaged as a result of the type of cork used.

Amazingly, the Vineyard acknowledged the issue was their responsibility and going to address it, so I may yet get to enjoy some delicious chablis.
