Wednesday, October 10, 2012 - Juicy and supple, with a clean glycerine edge. This bottle shows great color, with a hint of brick coming at the edge, but you have to look hard. Spice and earth, leather & shroom, good mid-palate impression, round with a zingy finish. Acidic structure in good balance with fruit. A clear sense of place. Freaking Aye, quite nice. I wouldn't mind additional aromatics, though... purchased on release at VVW in Palo Alto and cellared at 55 degrees. Im happy
