90 Points

Thursday, August 16, 2018 - What a terrific bottle. This wine has improved since the last time I tasted it, several years back. (Perhaps bottle variation?) Lovely, complex, aged Burgundy with ample bouquet and a good acidic backbone. Label indicates 12.5 abv, but it definitely felt higher. Glad I held on to this. Great with food, or on its own. For me, solid Bourgogne are some of the best wine deals around. I’ll give it a 90 for the sheer pleasure which ensued after the cork pull.
