Sunday, May 15, 2011 - Popped and poured. Very dark purple color to the rim, tending towards opaque. Subdued nose showing some blackberry, currant, sage and leather. Medium body, medium-low acidity. Slightly tart currant, menthol, leather and some spice notes. Pretty one dimensional and a touch hollow on the midpalate. Short-medium finish. Turns dry and leathery. A green herbal streak comes out as well.
