Monday, April 10, 2017 - High fill to the neck and while the cork broke in the middle the second half eventually came off.

Slightest hint of browning on the edges with still a white hue. Balsamic, menthol, and smokey notes coupled with dark cherries. Enough acidity and tannin to keep this going for quite some time, very enjoyable now but based on this bottle aging potential is just fine.

Update- on the third night more pronounced roses, tobacco and licorice. Forgot to mention, also a very long finish.
