Sunday, December 26, 2010 - A nice ruby color in the center with considerable lightening at the rim. Cherries, raspberry, minerals, baking spices, and a touch of earthiness on the nose. Medium to full body with soft, ripe tannins and good acidity. Ripe and lush on the palate. Fairly long finish with the fruit and spices lingering nicely. This will never be confused as an old world wine, but man is it tasty. Brian does pinots in a style that appeals to me, a lot.
