Saturday, April 14, 2012 - Transparent ruby red color. Nose of sweet fruit. Candied dark fruits, a touch of strident alcohol, and cola on the smooth, somewhat hollow palate. I used to derive great pleasure from this style, but the 2009 Hudelot-Noellat Bourgogne of last week was so much more tensile, fresh, and alive.
