Wednesday, July 29, 2015 - Lovely. Drank at Champanys near Edinburgh to partner with Steak. It was their last bottle. Dark red with a hint of purple. The nose was lovely dark forest fruits with a good hint of smoky-ness. On the palate the tannin has smoothed out, with a great balance and integration of acidity and fruit. There is drinking perfectly. A consistent chateau - always been impressed.
