Saturday, February 13, 2010 - Very impressed with this wine, what a great QPR at under $20/bottle, highly recommend this, definitely need to get a case of this and get this on the regular daily drinker rotation. Opened and breathing for 2-3 hours prior to consumption, not sure this needs a formal decant, paired beautifully with stuffed chicken sausages and spicy gourmet lamb burgers. Dark, soft, complex, polished and mature, well balanced and beautiful long lingering aftertaste. Floral and aromatic nose of allspice, cola and blueberries, primary flavors of earth, smoke and grilled meat, hint of black pepper, oak and dark stone fruit. Really looking forward to the remaining bottle.
