Monday, August 15, 2022 - The wine looks yellow gold colored. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like orange, lime, a hint of petrol and apple blossom. It tastes like gooseberry, petrol and grapefruit. It is refreshing. The body is medium. The wine has juicy texture. The wine finishes very long, including some hazelnuts and lime.. The wine has high acidity as one expects from Riesling. It still has lots of life in it and is not tired at all. #XavierAuerbach was too conservative in saying it would survive until 2023. Certainly no masterpiece, but attractive and nice without food.
