Friday, August 19, 2011 - Annual Pilgrimage to Chateau Lanessan (and its 200 year old cellar ); 8/19/2011-8/21/2011 (Chateau Lanessan, Bordeaux): Wine of the weekend. Straight from the family's own wine cellar and recorked maybe 30yrs ago. Fully bricked out in colour. We thought it was 50s wine. Alive still with lots of palate presence. The Fruit is on the way out but still some presence. A superb wine given it's age
