Monday, December 8, 2014 - Good grief, this is unusual (not having tried any Cayuse wine before). A dark ruby red in the glass, and a really funky, sweet, aromatic nose that really invites you in to find out what the hell is in the glass. The wine is full of flavour, loads of ripe fruit, with perfectly balanced acidity and tannins, really well put together, with a long decadent finish. This really is a bit of a star, and i am going to give a bottle to my friends (we don't come across this in Europe very often). Its so unusual i think i would score it 100 when in the mood, and 90 when not.
