To me, scoring a Bionic Frog at 93 means it fell well-short of expectation. Perhaps I stored this improperly in its first few years .. whatever the case, this was not the brilliant bombshell that the other half-dozen BF's I've tried were [including this vintage]. It had a slight astringency / vinegar mid palate, and weak back palate that was short on fruit. Well, at least the waiter seemed to love it.
