Thursday, October 14, 2010 - Popped and poured. Very prominent vanilla/candy flavor out of the bottle. Not good at all -- Aussie shiraz territory. Over a couple of hours the deeper notes of dark berries and pepper came through on the nose, and the flavors flattened out a bit, but still too much vanilla for me.
