Wednesday, January 1, 2020 - Two years since my last bottle and was less impressed this time around. Golden yellow. Just like earlier bottle this is clearly oxidative upon opening, almost like another premox Burgundy I thought, but this disappears with more air and the acidity with plenty of citrus moves to the front. We drank this over 90min and I never thought this found a nice balance. Also seemed a bit thin on the mid palate. While I am not a big fan of oxidative whites styles like the Rioja's of Lopez de Heredia, his whites are in terms of complexity in a different league compared to this in my eyes. Probably best to drink this up in the next few years.
