Thursday, November 4, 2010 - hello. lovely and traditional. i love the vintage expression this winery tends to show in the wines i've had. palate shows cherry, but a decent into some plummy minerality. there is a better way to describe this deep grainy/earth note in the nose. cold granite, and wet earth with a mystery deep sweet. that's better. medicinal dried cherries on the palate. red raspberry flavors and easy to swallow leathers. ample lean peppery black licourice. palate opens up to an earthy barnyard. gutsy and good. more than ample acid with well placed tannin for now and then. buy.
