Monday, April 5, 2010 - Decanted for about an hour before drinking. Crimson color. On the nose, cola, chocolate, licorice, and delicious black fruit. The black fruit carried all the way through on the palate with some vanilla and a little heat on the finish. Amazing mouthfeel. This isn't an over-the-top fruit forward zinfandel - probably the most elegant zin I've ever had to date.
