Friday, May 22, 2015 - One of the strongest vintages for Penns Woods, and it shows in this bottle. Still a bit austere and vegetal but this is serious wine built for plenty of aging. Great structure and coiled power within. Reddish fruit, menthol, light spice and fine tannins. Savory notes. Impressive cold climate red.
