93 Points

Sunday, December 6, 2020 - PnP. Grassl 1855. This gets better with time open. At first a bit austere. Then the characteristic barnyard and brown herbs. At first also not much fruit. And a closed bitter finish. But after close to two hours the fruit starts to emerge. The finish softens. Wow. This began as a mid 80s. Now low 90s. Nice acidity. Still some fine tannins. This should last a few more years at least.
