Friday, April 19, 2013 - Nose: Black Cherry, Blackberry, Blueberry and Graphite. Mushroom, Pencil shavings and sweet toasted oak. Palate: Medium weight, Blueberry, Black Cherry and some nice anise notes that are not obtuse. Floral and earth notes with graphite fold in as well. Finish: Lingering and slightly tannic. Still needs a bit of time to fully open.
