This wine certainly had the oak but plenty of fruit to at least almost make me forget about it. Lots of spice, vanilla, oak on the nose but also heavy doses of dark berries. Chocolate, mocha, and more dark berries on the palate. I'd say give it 5 years and it could be really good. 91 pts.
