Friday, December 4, 2009 - Still holding strong. After having the '05 not too far back and like it, this was interesting. More old world like with tea leaves, dried cherries, and clove/cinnamon combo. Dried orange peel, herbal tea, and raspberry on the palate with great acid, nice warm spice finish, and an earthy edge that reminded me of Vosne-Romanee for sure.
