Sunday, July 5, 2020 - Almost two years since my last bottle, and a really stunning showing tonight. Pnp and this needs only 10-15 min in the open bottle to come together. Still a pale yellow, showing almost no evolution. Beautiful nose, floral notes, oak perfectly integrated, citrus, on the palate fine texture, steely precision and freshness but then also white fruit and a finish of good length.
Unlike with the 07, have been really lucky with Bouchard’s 08, no premox or advanced casualties so far, and this is certainly one of the very best C-Cs I have had. Great wine. 95-96
