Tuesday, December 24, 2013 - A 2008 that is out of the tunnel. Showed some budding complexity, while still being very fruit forward (not extracted, just a lot of sweet lush dark berries). Good structure. Went perfectly well with some pork confit and potato stomp and mild apple/habanero chutney and steamed string beans in olive oil and seasalt. Great wine to accompany the christmas spread.
