Wednesday, June 28, 2023 - Some basic Pinot aromatics on the darker side, but utterly unexpressive. Tannins firm and a little drying still. Good acidity and mouthfeel. Tannins failed to really quiet down and resolve over a day open, and the aromas never evolved beyond the slightly tart and clipped black fruit. No off aromas. Well stored bittle.

This was a sound bottle of a thoroughly mediocre wine, where the tannins of the year eclipsed the fruit. If you have these, give them away as gifts to people who don’t care about wine.
