Sunday, November 24, 2013 - A little austere, but has that classic Pauillac lead pencil bouquet. There's also loam, cranberries, minerals, a hint of green. Tobacco appears after some air. To taste, it's brightness married to dry dark fruit. A bit lactic. Still holding together, with some good midpalate weight. Finish gives strong notes of cedar, lead pencil and ash. Smooth mouthfeel, resolved. Classy and understated, very nice. Old School.
