Sunday, December 19, 2021 - Popped and poured one evening with a few friends half way through dinner, and didn’t retain detailed notes, but everyone loved it! Had bought the bottle 30+years ago in a grocery store and had kind of forgotten about it. Well it was a huge hit with our guests. Wonderfully mature yet still with nice fruit and a long finish. Speaks highly of the winemaking in California )and at Chappelllet) in the 70’s. Not necessarily going for fruit bombs, this wine seemed like it could live forever.
