Medium - full body with vegetal character and massive dusty tannin structure, which ordinarily I like but you might need a chair and a whip to tame this beast. Will this mellow with another 9 years in the bottle? My guess is no but there is structure here if you like this style. An acrid midpalate seemed to die down with aeration. Paid $30.
